If you're travelling light, this is the smallest, lightest one-cup brewer you can find. The Kalita Kantan is a folded paper filter that fits over your mug - giving you a portable one cup brew that gives you a clean tasty brew.

And just wait until you feel the paper filter - we've never seen such smooth, shiny and fine paper used as a filter! Simply fold the Kantan over your cup, and wash through with hot water. Made in Japan.

• Method: Add 12g of coffee, ground to slightly coarser than sand. Evenly pour over 200g of hot water, with an extraction time of between 2 to 2.5 minutes.
